Every teacher has her or his own style of teaching and now traditional teaching methods have undergone significant changes. Even in a dramatic way too to teach language to the tiny tots in the schools. Punjabi language may have been teaching in every school of Punjab but the way government teachers have been teaching in the government primary schools are noteworthy. Teachers here teaching “Muharni” in such a unique way that the students neither forget the alphabets of Punjab but also learn the correct pronunciation of the Punjabi Alphabets. It is a daily practice of Rajinder Kaur Saini, ETT teacher in government elementary school at Gumtala,to teach its pupils “Muharnia” while singing and dancing. “When the children who are taught in a simple way usually, it happens like a reverse but when they are told something with action and with a music, then it registered on their mind, opine Rajinder Kaur .
